Project Background

Sunset Las Palmas is one of Sunset Studios’ three lots dedicated to entertainment production in Hollywood. Overall, each of the three lots contain numerous stages and offices available for teams to utilize for the purpose of film, television, or auditory production. Countless award-winning and unforgettable screenplays are home to Sunset Las Palmas, such as I Love Lucy, The Addams Family, Jeopardy, La La Land, and X-Men.

To complete the construction of another facility on their 12+ acre Las Palmas location, Stone Roofing installed a 60 mil PVC feltback roofing system. The feltback membrane was fully adhered over a layer of coverboard, R-30 insulation, and vapor retarder. This high quality roofing system will be reliably watertight and safe for production for many years to come.
