Project Background
Citrus College is an accredited community college located in Glendora, California, about 25 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Founded in 1915, Citrus College has been growing consistently. Starting at just 27 students its first year, they now enroll over 19,000 annually. As of 2021, the school is currently beginning the process of an official expansion campaign for the 104-acre campus, demonstrating that the campus is continuing to grow to this day.
Stone Roofing Co. had the privilege of roofing the mathematics building during Citrus’ new construction project. The roofing system installed consisted of applying polyurethane spray foam to insulate and make the roof watertight. In addition, Stone Roofing applied a layer of elastomeric coating to the surface of the foam roof. This top layer vastly improves the reflectivity, durability, and overall cost effectiveness of the roof.
Overall, Stone is proud to have worked with Citrus College in their goal to update their campus.
