Project Background
Stone Roofing previously roofed this building for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. The building is used for medical experimentation, which is further used to develop and mass-produce various medicines. These products distribute globally, saving many lives every single day. Given the caliber of research to be done in the building, the client needs a flawlessly watertight roof.
With Stone’s 80+ years of commercial roofing experience, the pharmaceutical company trusted Stone Roofing to install their roofing system. First, rigid insulation was laid over the steel roof deck to limit the building’s temperature variation. Then, Stone installed two layers of modified bitumen membrane over the insulation. Lastly, Stone installed concrete pavers over pedestals on a portion of the roof.
Overall, Stone is proud to be trusted in another project in which the customer requires nothing less than the best.
