Project Background
Target is popular general merchandise retailer serving all 50 states in the US. The corporation emphasizes “Target Forward,” a campaign focused on a decade-long sustainability and quality of life improvement for their business. In summary, their goals include reducing non-renewable or non-compostable plastics in their products, reducing greenhouse gas emissions to zero, and eliminating all waste from products. Target’s sustainment strategy and ambitions are an inspiration for all American businesses.
Stone Roofing was thrilled to be tasked with re-roofing the Modesto, California Target store.
Installing a 60 mil PVC roofing system as part of the re-roofing project, the system also included installing a layer of coverboard for stability, as well as ensuring all 1300+ solar-ready supports were watertight.
PVC roofing can be attached and adhered in several different ways, making PVC roofs completely customizable and aesthetically pleasing. With the low-temperature flexibility and high-temperature tolerance points of the membrane, PVC is very flame resistant, impact-resistant, and resilient.
Overall, Stone Roofing is pleased to have successfully provided Target Modesto with a premium quality new single ply roofing system, all while the store stayed open and fully operational and the highest levels of roofing safety was maintained.
