Walker Building Lofts

Long Beach, CA

Project Background

The Walker Building is a collection of high quality lofts centered in Long Beach, California. Originally built in 1929, the Walker building has been responsible for 46 of the nicest units in the city. With just a short walk of 15 minutes, residents have access to many of the city’s best attributes, such as famous beaches along the Pacific coast or the Pine Avenue Entertainment District.

Stone Roofing took the opportunity to repair the roof and install a Siplast waterproofing system on top of the Walker Building. This specific two-ply technique is unlike Stone Roofing’s preferred style of installing thermal and moisture protection; however, the goal was achieved regardless – to protect the building from the elements.
